At Repair Zone, protecting your personal information matters. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we protect it and what your rights are, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Who we are
Repair Zone is an electronics repair and sales store located at 222A Bd Curé-Labelle, Laval, QC H7L 3A1. The repairzone.pro website is operated by Repair Zone ("we", "our", "us").
2. Information we collect
We only collect the information needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Information you provide through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.
- Information you provide when you call us, email us or drop off a device: contact details and information about the device and the requested repair.
- Browsing data, only if you consent: pages viewed, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate region, how you reached the site (for example, a Google ad) and interactions with the site. This data is collected through cookies — see section 4.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your questions and provide quotes.
- To perform the requested repairs and services, and follow up on them (including warranty).
- To measure site traffic and improve the site (Google Analytics), if you consent.
- To measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads campaigns and show you relevant ads, if you consent.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or customize non-essential cookies. No analytics or advertising cookies are set without your consent.

5. Sharing with third parties and storage outside Québec
We use service providers that process certain information on our behalf, solely for the purposes described here:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting (United States).
- Resend — delivery of messages sent through the contact form (United States).
- Google LLC — Google Analytics and Google Ads, if you consent (United States). See how Google uses data.
This information may therefore be stored outside Québec. Before sharing it, we assess that these providers offer adequate protection, and they are bound by contractual confidentiality and security commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. Retention
Messages received through the contact form are kept as long as needed to handle and follow up on your request, then destroyed. Repair records are kept for the warranty period and as required by law (including tax obligations). Google Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it, and reputable providers. Since no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
8. Your rights
Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy, including in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected;
- withdraw your consent at any time (for example to cookies, via );
- request that we stop disseminating your information or delete it when it is no longer needed.

9. Minors
Our website is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information about them without the consent of the person having parental authority.
